Manassas Royal Arch
From the Chamber of the High Priest !
Greetings Companions, !
November will be a busy month for all companions both at home and in the chapter. The Grand Lodge of Virginia will be meeting from November 7th through the 9th in Richmond. I would like to reiterate from last months Chronicle that The Grand Convocation will be held November 13-15 in Williamsburg at the Fort Magruder Inn.
A dispensation has been granted to our chapter from the Grand Chapter to
change the stated meeting date from November 13 to November 6th with Dinner
starting at 6:30pm. This dispensation was granted to avoid conflict In preparation for the Grand Convocation. In addition to the Grand Convocation On November 22 our chapter will host the homecoming for the Grand High Priest at Manasseh Lodge this event will be held from 3:30pm to 6:30pm more information will be provided in the upcoming month.
An important reminder to all companions The Grand Chapter Assessment has
been increased by $10.00 this means the annual dues for all Companions unless they are life members will increase from $61.00 to $71.00 annually. We are planning on conferring the Royal Arch Degree on three Companions on
November 10, 7:30pm at the Louden Chapter #25. I encourage all companions who can, to attend in support of the the Degree and these New Companions.
I hope that all companions can attend our next stated meeting we will start the
evening of November 6th, at 6:30 p.m. with a dinner of cottage pie (similar to shepherds pie), ham and noodle casserole along with several side items. !
Companions we also have a member of our chapter that has recently taken ill. Companion Mike Johnson who is our current Grand Master of the Second Veil has been admitted to Prince William Hospital and is currently in Intensive Care
please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers and help me in wishing him a speedy recovery.
Finally, let us remember to continue to support the chapter and our companions in all our transactions. Remember our obligations as Royal Arch
Sincerely and Fraternally,
